👋🏼 Hello there, I’m Zhen!

👨🏻‍💻 I’m a 4th-year Ph.D. at the Arizona State University in Computer Science under the supervision of Prof. Huan Liu. Previously, I received my master’s and bachelor’s degrees from Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) and Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), respectively.

🔬 My research interests are generally in data mining, machine learning, and foundation models or agents. Specifically, my research focuses lie in pragmatic AI systems that are trustworthy and efficient. Meanwhile, I am deeply committed to creating AI algorithms that are guided by domain-specific knowledge, with the goal of driving significant advancements in fields like healthcare, social science, and education.

📚 I am currently a research intern at Google Cloud AI in Sunnyvale! I am also holding a visiting reseacher position at Harvard Medical School.
